Ryan Derico

Founder

After more than 12 years working in various human services capacities, Ryan earned a masters in clinical mental health counseling at University of the Cumberlands in 2020. Prior to beginning his professional human services experience, he earned a bachelor of science in psychology at Indiana University in 2003. His human services experience includes: casework; inpatient mental health services; specialized foster care; child and adolescent group homes; young adult cooperative group homes; life skills education leadership; social services program management; case management; clinical mental health counseling; mental health services coordination; psychotherapy; counselor education. As a combined motivational interviewing/cognitive behavior therapist and adjunct professor, Ryan uses his human services to experience to provide client-centered clinical mental health services and counselor education. He has completed specialized training and certification for working with distress and difficulties with functioning that are related to clinical anxiety, ADHD, and the autism spectrum. His interests are clinical mental health diagnostic assessment and specialized services referral. In his free time, Ryan enjoys relaxing days at home or spending energizing time with family, friends, and colleagues.

Nora Green

Professional Clinical Mental Health Counseling Services Provider

Nora has a bachelor of arts in psychology and master of arts in community guidance and counseling from Chicago State University. She is also a Certified Grief Recovery Method Specialist through the Grief Recovery Institute. Nora is founder of Weeping NFP, a grief recovery group. In addition, Nora has extensive experience with clinical mental health assessment and almost 30 years of experience working for the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. She has been a member of Faith Temple Church of God in Christ since 1988, where she served as Board Member, President of the Women’s Department, and as a member of the church choir. Nora has been married to her loving husband for more than 30 years. Together, they have five sons, twenty grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
